Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of BuyWiser. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and any applicable App Store terms.

1. What BuyWiser does

BuyWiser is a purchase-decision companion. It can help you evaluate products using information such as your budget preferences, goals, expected use, purchase and decision history, and available product information. It may also help you reflect on purchases after the fact and surface patterns from your own decision history.

2. Not financial advice

BuyWiser provides informational recommendations and decision-support tools. It is not a financial adviser, credit provider, investment service, or guarantee that a purchase will be right for you or affordable in every circumstance. You remain responsible for your purchase decisions and for verifying information that matters to you.

3. Product information, automated analysis, and estimates

Product information obtained from product pages, external services, automated analysis, or other sources can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or incorrect. BuyWiser may use automated systems, including AI-based services, to identify products and generate supporting context or recommendations.

Some information shown by BuyWiser is intentionally approximate. For example, environmental-impact or carbon-footprint information may be based on product category and available product information rather than a verified product-specific lifecycle assessment. Such estimates are provided as context and should not be treated as precise measurements.

You should verify important product, seller, price, safety, warranty, compatibility, or other factual details before purchasing when those details matter to your decision.

4. Recommendations and responsibility

Buy, Wait, or Skip recommendations are automated decision-support outputs based on the information available to BuyWiser and the preferences or history associated with your use of the app. A recommendation is not a guarantee of satisfaction, financial outcome, future product value, availability, or suitability. You remain responsible for the final decision.

5. Subscriptions

Premium access may be offered through recurring subscriptions purchased through Apple. Available plans, billing periods, prices, introductory offers, and trials are shown by the App Store at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings in accordance with Apple's rules.

Deleting a BuyWiser account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through Apple.

6. Trials and offers

Any free trial or introductory offer is subject to eligibility and the terms displayed by Apple at purchase time. BuyWiser does not guarantee that every account is eligible for a particular offer.

7. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for providing accurate information where required. Do not attempt to access another person's account or data.

8. Acceptable use

You may not misuse BuyWiser, interfere with its services, attempt to bypass access controls, reverse engineer protected services where prohibited by law, abuse automated endpoints, or use the app for unlawful purposes.

9. Availability

Features that depend on third-party services, product sources, internet connectivity, or App Store services may sometimes be unavailable. BuyWiser may change, remove, or improve functionality over time.

10. Intellectual property

BuyWiser's software, branding, interface, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of BuyWiser to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BuyWiser is provided without guarantees about uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of automated recommendations or estimates, seller inventory, product information, or the outcome of any purchase decision. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Termination

You may stop using BuyWiser at any time. We may restrict access when necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or prevent abuse.

13. Apple terms

For iOS distribution, Apple's applicable App Store terms and license conditions also apply. Where the Apple Standard EULA applies, it is available from Apple.

14. Privacy

Your use of BuyWiser is also subject to the BuyWiser Privacy Policy, which explains how the app handles account information, product data, images, purchase records, reflections, and other information used to provide the service.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms as BuyWiser evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
